Creative Spanish students

My philosophy is that learning Spanish should be fun. It can be hard work, but it's also exciting and if we aren't having some fun while doing it, something is wrong!

When it comes to learning verb conjugations, I often have students draw their own verb charts instead of just memorizing out of the book... more of the brain is involved in learning and it's just more interesting. Seeing their sketchnotes is a highlight for me! The artistic students absolutely shine and the non-artsy students let their personality and hobbies come out in their sketchnotes.

Below are a couple of links to some of my favorite sketchnotes from Spanish 1 (with present tense verb conjugations) and from Spanish 2 (with preterite past conjugations). I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I did. 🙂
